Great User Experience

I’m not sure if Google Reader team is reading it but I’m sure they should.

1. Not only they fixed the F5 issue but they found my rant about that and commented it. Really impressing. I mean, it’s quite ease to fix the issue, inform people on official forums and so on. But they searched the web and commented all the rants about last upgrade explaining what was done intentionally and what was done accidentally.

2. They fixed navigation issues also (now “k”, “n”, arrows sequence works perfectly).

Now I believe they care. What more, they care and they give you know about that. To be honest Mihai Parparita is quite an anonymous person for me, unless he writes in the official Reader’s blog. In that case his effort to comment feedback about last Readers upgrade is different. Now I see a person who is really committed to a success of Google Reader. Now I’m happy to use the tool – I know there are people who struggle to make it worth my effort.

How much has it taken to change my attitude? Two sentences. Worth to invest? That’s for sure.

As long as users are passionate enough about a product to write about how it makes them feel and how it could be improved, we’ll be reading, absorbing, and making the product better.

    Thanks!
