My companies have never hidden their names when publishing job offers. Sometimes it was a bit harder to figure out which team candidate was applying to, because the offer was general. However, I don’t get why so many times I was talking to people who has no clue what we’re doing. Hey, has out website crashed recently? Maybe didn’t have time to read? It was three days only since they received an invitation to an interview.
Take some time and read a website of company you’re applying to. Often you’ll find there just some marketing rah-rah, but at least you’ll learn some basics about company. And during the meeting you’ll show that you care.
